Changzhou, China [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Trina Solar Limited announced that its subsidiary, Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co. Ltd., has increased its yearly shipments to Enerqos SPA, an Italian photovoltaic system and solar power plant construction company headquartered in Monza.
Under the terms of the agreement signed in November 2009, Trina Solar is increasing its 2010 committed quantity to Enerqos to 23 megawatts (MW of solar photovoltaic modules in 2010 from 2 MW in 2009. Shipments include 13 MW and 10 MW of PV modules for the first and second half of 2010, respectively, with agreed prices for the first and second quarter of 2010.

Last week, Trina announced that its subsidiary, Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co. Ltd., signed a sales agreement with Essco Wholesale Electric Inc., a U.S. distributor. Under the terms of the agreement, Trina Solar is expected to supply Essco with approximately 25 MW of PV modules. Essco has an option to add an additional 4 MW of modules to the agreement. All of the modules will be delivered during 2010.
