March 31, 2004 [SolarAccess.com] SMA America announced that Ed Sears will be heading up the company’s new Technical Support and Services department, starting April 1, 2004. Ed’s department will be responsible for training, service and support of SMA’s new Sunny Central 125 kW PV grid tied inverter (SC125U) and other new industrial and commercial power products. In the next month SMA will begin shipping, installing and commissioning the SC125U inverter, as well as a number of other new inverter products. SMA said the SC125U contains the same high level of quality and technical know how found in over 200,000 Sunny Boy inverters installed throughout the world.
