SunWize SW Solar Modules Receive UL Approval

SunWize Technologies recently received UL listing for their SW line of single crystalline solar modules. The SunWize solar module line ranges from 85 W to 120 W and is rated at +/- 5 percent of the listed output. All SW series modules come with a 20-year, 80 percent power output warranty. Accessories include SunWize mounting hardware, interconnects and the SWIL6 voltage regulator, available separately or in module kits.

Kingston, New York – May 30, 2003 [] “We are proud to offer an economically priced solar module that allows our customers to successfully compete in the residential grid tie marketplace,” said Joanne Smith, VP Residential Power. “These modules exceed industry standards providing exceptional reliability and maximum power output.” SunWize high quality modules include an impact resistant glass front, Tedlar back, EVA encapsulate, anodized aluminum tubular frame with pre-drilled mounting holes, and blocking diodes contained within a weather-resistant junction box. The SWIL6 voltage regulator, for systems rated up to 100 W, is fully encapsulated. The SW85 and SW90 UL listed modules are in stock at both SunWize distribution centers in New York and California. The SW100, SW115 and the SW120 UL listed modules will be available in July.
