SunWize PV Modules for Remote Power

Last week, SunWize Technologies announced the release of the SL series — a new line of durable photovoltaic (PV) modules that are ideal for remote locations. The SL series features 6, 12 and 24-watt modules with a 10-year, 80% power output guarantee. Each module includes an impact resistant glass front, Tedlar back, EVA encapsulate, anodized aluminum tubular frame with pre-drilled mounting holes, and a weather-resistant junction box with a terminal for the addition of a blocking diode. The glass surface allows maximum light transmission and is impact resistant to one-inch diameter hailstones at terminal velocity (5 ft-lbs). The frames are constructed to withstand constant wind speeds of 110 mph and gusts up to 133 mph.
