Sunny Outlook for Cornish Cafe

August 4, 2003[SolarAccess.com]A cafe and vacation cottage now incorporate solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to provide power for the holiday retreat overlooking the white sands and turquoise waters of an area considered to be one of the most beautiful places in Cornwall. Over 550 individual solar sunslates installed by SolarCentury, will provide nearly 5000 kWh of electricity a year. Jeremy Leggett, CEO of SolarCentury said that PV is a vital source of power in today’s energy mix, the venture will leave a winder impact on environment and a lasting impression on some 150,000 visitors the site receives each year.
