Spire Renews PV Technology Licensing

June 19, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Spire Corporation has renewed its technology licensing agreement for the manufacture and distribution of its solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing equipment with Japan’s Marubeni Corporation. Under the terms of the agreement, Marubeni has rights to manufacture and distribute Spire’s PV manufacturing equipment in Japan and to Japanese companies worldwide. The license also authorizes Marubeni to sublicense the manufacturing of Spire’s equipment to Japan’s Nisshinbo Industries.
