Spanish Company Enters PV Market with Spire

Spire has picked up a contract to provide Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente, of Madrid, Spain, a customized turnkey solar photovoltaic (PV) module production line. Spire’s SPI-LINE PV module manufacturing equipment and process technology provided will enable Solaria to manufacture PV modules from solar cells to address the rapidly growing needs of the European market. The modules produced from the line will be used for on-grid and off-grid electrification projects in Spain and elsewhere. Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente is a subsidiary company of IDT Group, a diversified manufacturing company with facilities in Spain that develop and provide products and services in the solar energy market. Solaria is entering the PV module manufacturing business with this agreement.
