Spain’s Isofoton Major PV Producer in 2001

2002-03-28 [] Isofoton, a Spanish solar panel manufacturer, was a European leader in the sector in 2001 in terms of production capacity. The company’s contracts include installations, which provide power for 500 mobile phone transmitters in Morocco and a 1 million euro (US$875,000) contract for Taiwanese electricity group CEMC. In 2001 Isofoton had a production capacity of 20.4 MW, enough to supply electricity for 150,000 families in a rural environment, or a city with a population of 60,000.
