Solargiga Awarded 13.5 MW Pilot Project

Solargiga Energy has been granted a tender for 13.5-megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic power generation pilot project under the Golden Sun Program to be implemented by the Chinese government, following the company’s developing a 300-kilowatt (kW) photovoltaic pilot project in Jinzhou.

The Chinese government plans to implement a total of 642 MW photovoltaic power generation pilot project under the Golden Sun Programs in the next two to three years, of which 16.5MW photovoltaic power generation project will be carried out in Liaoning Province.

Jinzhou Yangguang Company Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Solargiga, has been awarded the tender of 13.5 MW photovoltaic power generation, project accounting for over 80% of the total generating capacity of the project to be implemented in Liaoning Province.

The project includes large-scale on-grid photovoltaic power generation, user-side on-grid photovoltaic power generation and user-side roof-mounted photovoltaic power generation with power generating capacity of 10 MW, 3 MW and 500 kW respectively.
