Solar PV Monitoring Firm Lands Additional Funding

July 27, 2004 [SolarAccess.com] Fat Spaniel Technologies, a solar monitoring solution company, has raised $500,000 in its “Friends and Family” round of financing. The proceeds of the round will be used to strengthen relationships with industry integrators and equipment manufacturers, to support the sales function and advanced feature development. Fat Spaniel Technologies’ product suite, PV2Web, is already in production and being sold globally with close to 2 MW being monitored. The product is an energy monitoring solution that offers energy users the ability to manage and control their energy data through easy to understand displays via the Internet. The real-time, historical displays allow users to view their energy usage and environmental benefits to make efficient energy decisions and ensure the system is running at peak levels.
