June 2, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Irene’s Garden, known for their blend of world rhythms, psycho-disco, and hippiedelic-funk music-will perform Friday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m. at the Renewable Energy and Sustainable Living Fair in Custer, WI. Reptile Palace Orchestra (RPO) will entertain the masses at their June 21 Fair debut at 8:00pm. No label can be applied to the type of music RPO plays, part Bulgarian, part Colombian, part swing, part Balkan, the band has no rivals for their style. Both shows will be powered by solar energy produced by photovoltaic arrays at the ReNew the Earth Institute. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the Midwest Renewable Energy Association and several central Wisconsin businesses.
