Solar-Powered Community Using PowerLight SunTile

Vacaville, California [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Vacaville’s first solar community is being constructed using PowerLight’s SunTile Solar Electric System, enabling homeowners to realize an estimated 50% savings in electricity bills and a $2000 tax credit. Each home will feature a PowerLight SunTile (2.3 kW) roof-integrated solar system, which interlocks with roof tiles and shingles and offer natural ventilation, enabling the solar array to maintain optimal performance in high temperature climates.
