Solar Panels Power Lights at Bus Stations in York, England

2002-03-06 [SolarAccess.com] Solar panels on the roofs of three York bus stands are powering lights for passengers and could become commonplace in the city. Transportation officials in the city were receiving complaints from passengers who were not able to see the timetables in the dark and there was concern for their safety.
