Solar Modules Partnership

Freiburg, Germany – June 25, 2004 [] SunTechnics and SunPower Corporation have formed a distribution partnership that gives technics exclusive rights to market $40 million to $75 million of power’s photovoltaic (PV) products in Europe through 2005. SunPower designs and manufactures high-performance silicon solar cells based on an interdigitated all-back-contact design. The company’s initial products were put to use in a variety applications, including the NASA-sponsored AeroVironment airplane that flew to an altitude of 96,863 feet. SunTechnics is a source for complete photovoltaic installations, with inverters and mounting systems in addition to the modules. They also offer custom-built thermal systems to meet any requirements for domestic hot water and heating support installations.
