Solar Hot Water for Oregon Habitat Homes

October 24, 2002 [} Bend Area Habitat For Humanity homes will all be receiving solar water systems on every home in Central Oregon. New Path Renewables is installing the systems at no cost with the help of the Energy Trust of Oregon the Oregon Office of Energy, and the local Union shops and the installed systems have shown savings of 30-40 percent on the homeowner’s utility bill, said New Path Renewables.
