Solar-Home Community: Good Idea, Bad Location?

[The Wall Street Journal] In Philadelphia, there’s been some buzz about a new community of solar, zero-energy residences, built to produce as much energy as they consume. Maple Point Solar Town Homes are going up in the city’s Juniata neighborhood bordering Fairmount Park, and will be featured on the local ABC affiliate’s Primetime Weekend program at 7 p.m. on Saturday. So far, four town houses have been completed and 34 more are under construction.
