Solar Boom?

A story by Laurent Belsie of The Christian Science Monitor makes a very interesting point about the current state of the solar energy industry and market in the United States today compared to heydays of the past. Despite the acceptance of the technology by institutions, governments and business, installations on homes decreased markedly in the eighties and is cautiously on the rise. “Solar power is enjoying a boom, but advocates are cautious. The key is avoiding mistakes that led to a bust in the 1980s,” she writes.
