Seaward released the SolarCert Elements software program for solar photovoltaics (PV) system installers to produce all electrical test documentation for client handover packs quickly and easily.

August 1, 2011 — Seaward released the SolarCert Elements software program for solar photovoltaics (PV) system installers to produce all electrical test documentation for client handover packs quickly and easily.

Solar PV installers can use the Seaward SolarCert Elements software to create comprehensive folders of system information: customized test certification and inspection reports, installation layout diagrams, photographs and other information. The manual data entry program should improve installation/testing efficiency, allowing fast and simple recording, storing and searching of all electrical test and measurements in accordance with certification schemes and the IEC 62446 standard.

An onboard step-by-step tutorial guides users through the software features and a checklist helps ensure all required information is included in the client handover pack. Test data can also be used to create professional PV array test and system inspection reports and verification certificates as PDF files.

For multiple installations of a similar nature, information can be quickly transferred from one record to another.
