SHEC Labs Announces Private Placement

January 6, 2003 [] Solar Hydrogen Energy Corporation (SHEC) based in Saskatoon, Canada said that it intends to raise, on a private placement basis, up to CAN$5 million through the issuance of up to 2,500,000 Class A Shares. Pursuant to an offering memorandum, the company will offer up to 2,500,000 Class A Shares at a price of $2.00 per Class A Share to subscribers resident in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. SHEC has developed a process to produce hydrogen from water using a solar thermo chemical process.
