Schott Supplies 120kW Solar Installation at Ohio Newspaper

Intended to supply 60% of the building’s energy needs, the panels were installed by an offshoot of Kastle Electric, an Ohio electrical contractor that entered the solar industry in January.

“We see tremendous opportunities for commercial customers like the Dayton Daily News to save money on their electric bills by installing clean, reliable solar.” said Mark Wiley, President of Kastle Solar & Wind.

“That potential is what will help us grow our business and help build a robust solar industry in Southwest Ohio.”

In association with Sol Ventus Partners, which provides project financing, his company has two projects to install 300 kW of panels on school roofs in Ohio.

Schott opened a plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to supply the US market last year.
