Schneider Electric wins 100MW+ solar inverter order

Schneider Electric’s Renewable Energies Business won a photovoltaic inverter order from a major global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company.

July 8, 2011 — Schneider Electric’s Renewable Energies Business won a photovoltaic inverter order from a major global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company to supply more than 100MW of inverters throughout 2011 in North America.

A repeat customer ordered the solar inverters, though Schneider Electric is not sharing the company’s name. The inverters will serve utility and large-scale ground-mount photovoltaic (PV) installations.
