Venlo, The Netherlands [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Scheuten Solar has acquired two PV projects located in Italy with a total capacity of 21 megawatts (MW). Scheuten Solar acquired the projects from Econcern, which declared bankruptcy in June this year.
Both projects are located in Italy in the Apulia region consisting of 13 different sites with a potential of total installed capacity of 21 MW. Scheuten Solar is currently extending its project development activities and the two projects will become part of the growing project portfolio Scheuten Solar has built up over the last few years.
The company also said that it is evaluating new partnerships with PV project developers in order to further extend its amount of projects under development whilst assisting customers with bringing their project to financial close.
