PV Workshops offered in Oaxaca Mexico

March 24, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Solar-On-Line will offer workshops in Oaxaca, Mexico in both English and Spanish. The first workshop entitled PV Design & Installation for Rural and Remote Applications will take place from May 5 – 10. The second course will take place from May 12 – 16 and is entitled Solar Energy for Food & Water.These courses are in direct support of an Eco-Agro-Energy technology training and demonstration center. The project is funded by the Kellogg Foundation and will promote widespread use of solar energy for electricity, safe water supply and food security in rural Mexico. Participants will install PV and solar energy systems for lighting, water pumping, water purification, cooking and education facilities.
