PV Controller Co. Lands Sunshine State Contract

March 31, 2004 [SolarAccess.com] Morningstar announced their TriStar controller has been selected to be a key component in a major U.S. solar project. A total of 6,000 TriStar controllers are being used in 3,000 solar powered bus shelters in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Each bus shelter will use one TriStar for PV charging and one for automatic control of the lighting. Intelligent solar lighting control is a newly added feature of the TriStar controller.
