PowerSecure builds rooftop solar energy array for QVC

PowerSecure International completed the engineering, construction and installation of a new 3 MW solar farm for QVC at a distribution center in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

This project, which consists of more than 11,500 panels on 11 acres, will supplement an existing system that PowerSecure Solar helped construct in 2008 and brings the total production capacity at the facility to 4 MW.

Combined with the pre-existing solar capacity on the site, this facility now conserves enough kWh of energy to reduce carbon dioxide emissions that are equivalent to 458,766 gallons of gasoline, based on U.S. EPA Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies.
