Power Conditioner Gets Nod

November 27, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] Critical power products company SatCon Technology Corporation has announced that its Power Conditioning System for on-site power generation has been found to be compliant with the requirements of several interconnection standards, including Rule 21, that governs electrical power generation systems connected to the electric utility grid. Passing these standards allows on-site power generation systems, such as commercial fuel cells, photovoltaics or turbines, using SatCon’s Power Conditioning System to be installed in states where compliance with interconnect standards is a requirement, including California and New York.
