Phoenix Solar Builds 2.3-MW Rooftop PV Plant

Phoenix Solar AG is currently building a roof-mounted photovoltaic system with a peak power output of 2.3 megawatts on the roofs of EvoBus GmbH in Neu-Ulm, Germany.

The solar power plant on EvoBus GmbH’s production facilities, which is Phoenix Solar’s biggest roof-mounted system to date, will consist of close to 13,500 crystalline solar modules which will be mounted on 14 shed roofs with a combined surface area of around 18,000 square meters.

Phoenix Solar is planning to finish the power plant in December so that it can begin feeding energy into SWU Energie’s grid before the end of this year. Financing will be provided via an investment concept for power customers of SWU.
