Partnership For Solar Module Production

[] Centrotec Sustainable AG, based in Brilon, Germany, is expanding its activities in the solar sector. Last week, the company was able to firm up a deal for photovoltaic (PV) solar cells with Econcern B.V., Utrecht, the Netherlands. The parties also agreed to establish a joint venture for the production of solar modules. Centrotec will take charge of managing the company by virtue of holding a 70 % interest. Econcern B.V. specializes in the development of systems for renewable energy sources. Together with its subsidiary Ecostream, Econcern is one of the leading project developers and suppliers of PV solar energy systems in Europe, with branches in Spain, Italy, the UK, Poland, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
