Olympics Ushers in Solar PV System for Chinese Stadium

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] According to reports from China’s Peoples’ Daily Online, the new National Indoor Stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games has received approval for the installation of a 100 kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system. The project, installed inside the metal roof and glass wall of the gymnasium, would be the first solar PV system installation on a major stadium in China.
