Washington, DC, United States [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] In his weekly radio address last Saturday, President-elect Obama went into greater detail about his American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan, a plan that he hopes will not only create jobs in the short-term but that will spur sustainable economic growth for the future.
“To put people back to work today and reduce our dependence on foreign oil tomorrow, we will double renewable energy production and renovate public buildings to make them more energy efficient,” he said.
Next week, the President-elect will meet with leaders from both parties to discuss the plan. To read the full address or watch a video of it, click here.
