NOVA Airs “Saved By the Sun”

[] On Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at 8 p.m., NOVA will air an hour-long feature on solar power: “Saved by the Sun — Is it Time to Take Solar Energy Seriously?” In particular, Nevada Solar One (NSO), located in southern Nevada’s Eldorado Valley, will be featured. NSO is the third largest solar power plant built anywhere in the world in the last 15 years and is scheduled to be generating power in May 2007. NOVA is on local Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) stations.
