National Solar Tour Opens October 7

Thousands of solar homes and buildings in 45 states across the country open to the public this Saturday, October 7, to provide an opportunity to experience solar power, solar heating, cooling, and hot-water, wind power, day lighting, and green building technologies directly from the people who are using them.

Organized by The American Solar Energy Society (ASES), the National Solar Tour lets you learn first-hand about energy efficiency strategies and methods, speak with homeowners and experts, learn how the technology works, what it costs, and why it makes sense. 2006 Tours are scheduled through November and information about finding one near you can be found on the National Solar Tour links below. 2006 tour information is posted by state — to find a tour near you, use the second link below.
