Meyer Burger has successfully concluded a contract of over CHF 40 million with a new customer in Asia. The contract includes slicing, bricking, and automated gluing systems. The equipment is scheduled to be delivered during 2011.

(December 10, 2010) — Meyer Burger has successfully concluded a contract of over CHF 40 million with a new customer in Asia. The contract includes slicing, bricking, and automated gluing systems. The equipment is scheduled to be delivered during 2011.

Meyer Burger Technology Ltd (SIX Swiss Exchange: MBTN) announced today that the group member MB Wafertec (Meyer Burger Ltd) has succeeded in concluding a  contract for the supply of wire saws, bricking systems and automated gluing systems, with a new customer in Asia. The advanced manufacturing equipment from MB Wafertec will secure the production of high quality solar wafers and is scheduled to be delivered during 2011.

The company announced a CHF 70 million win in November.
