Massive Rooftop PV Australian Market

November 14, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] The first in a series of 1382 panels making up the largest grid-connected solar installation in the Southern Hemisphere have been installed on the roof of Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market. The CAN$1.75 million (US$980,000) dollar project will supply a 200 kW solar system to one-third of the Queen Victoria Market’s roof space when it is complete in early 2003. The project has been awarded to BP Solar.
