Lord Rupert Redesdale, CEO of the UK’s Energy Managers Assocaition has confirmed his attendance at Solar Energy UK, the UK’s largest international solar exhibition with 7,000 attendees expected at the NEC between 13-15 October 2015.
As ESOS Looms for businesses and energy prices continue to be volatile, Lord Redesdale will show the PV industry how to engage better with energy managers. This is a crucial topic as solar businesses express frustration with landlord/tenant issues and selling PV thoughout the chain of command.
Moreover, as the UK falls out of EY’s renwable country attractiveness report as a result of the government’s cuts to subsidies, the solar industry is looking for new opportunities across British commercial and industrial rooftops. The exhibition will provide a thorough look at how solar can be deployed at scale as companies re-model figures to find a return on British PV.
The show will also uncover the need for energy managers to take on-site generation from PV more seriously as more businesses realise the risk they carry on balance sheets in buying energy on the open markets.
