Long Island Town Seeks Solar Energy

October 14, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] The Long Island Shines program is looking for a little help from area solar photovoltaic (PV) installers. The town of Hempstead, Department of Conservation and Waterway has issued a RFP for solar PV system design and installation. The requested 10 kW PV system would be a component of the department’s administration building located in Point Lookout, New York.
