New York, United States [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Atlantic Energy Solutions has been awarded a US $12.2 million renewable energy and energy efficiency project from a Long Island, NY School District. The multifaceted project includes installation of a 200-kilowatt (kW) solar photovoltaic system, a 300-kW cogeneration system, IT Network Management, Weatherization and major HVAC renovations, as well as boiler and lighting replacement.
The renewable energy systems, the energy efficiency improvements and renovations along with $490,000 in LIPA solar incentives will realize the school district and its taxpayers almost $700,000 in annual energy savings.
