Liquidia Receives $2 M to Advance Thin Film Technology

Liquidia Technologies announced that it has received a $2 million award from the Commerce Department’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Advanced Technology Program (ATP).

Liquidia received the award to develop and manufacture high-efficiency, cost-effective patterned thin film solar cells based on the company’s breakthrough PRINT platform for precision nanomolding.

The PRINT platform combines photolithographic precision with a scalable continuous manufacturing process to commercialize nano-structured films for novel light management.

Liquidia is currently working with partners to improve light management efficiency across photovoltaic and display applications.
