Konarka’s CEO Speaks at Tech Conference

July 20, 2004 [SolarAccess.com] Konarka’s Chairman and CEO Howard Berke will speak about distributed power generation at the Energy Tech Investor Conference today alongside many of the energy technology industry’s movers & shakers. Berke will participate in the panel discussion “Why Is Distributed Generation Hot?” on Tuesday, July 20, at 10:00 a.m. PDT. The session will include an overview of the trends driving the rapid adoption of distributed generation, review cataclysmic events like last summer’s East Coast blackout and California’s power crisis and feature descriptions of specific technologies and applications, such as Konarka’s polymer photovoltaics, used for distributed generation. This year’s Energy Tech Investor Conference, takes place July 19-20, 2004 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco in San Francisco, California.
