Hoku Gains Solar Module Production Line from Spire

Bedford, Massachusetts [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] A new contract between Spire Corporation and Hoku Solar, a division of Hoku Scientific, Inc. will enable Hoku to begin manufacturing and selling photovoltaic modules. Spire will provide its 15-megawatt (MW) turnkey photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing production line, scheduled to be delivered in the first half of 2007.
