The Geothermal Energy Association (GEA), Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) and Geo-Exchange Organization (GEO) said this week that they have added two states to the list of free state-by-state guides they are making available to help states meet new clean energy standards from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The two new guides cover Utah and California, and walk through the benefits and uses of three major types of geothermal applications: power generation, direct use and heat pumps. The organizations previously released guides for Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Idaho and Colorado.
