Green Power Companies Cited as Tech Pioneers

December 15, 2003 [] In Time Magazine’s 2004 Tech Pioneers, clean energy entrepreneurs have been profiled among other innovators, for using the latest scientific technological advances to improve our quality of life. The US-based Medis Technologies was cited for developing new ways of delivering clean electricity to the world’s billions of portable gadgets. The Canadian company, Hydrogenics, whose products are big enough to power a car or a tank, was praised for the work they have done to bring the fuel cell to market. The US-based Nanosys was recognized for is development of tiny cells, which can be incorporated into the roof fabric of homes and other types of buildings to provide solar energy.
