Green Mountain Energy and Heard Museum Plan Solar Project

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Green Mountain Energy and the Heard Museum in McKinney, Texas, have teamed up to promote clean energy awareness in North Dallas by installing a 6 kW solar array at the museum. The 6 kW solar array will help the Museum save on its electricity bill each year, as well as offset about 17,000 pounds of carbon dioxide (CO2), or the equivalent of not driving over 19,000 miles. It would take more than 1,000 trees to remove this much CO2 from the air annually.
