Grant Buys PV System for Instruction at College Level

Lawrence, Massachusetts [] Solectria Renewables delivered two PVI13KW commercial inverters for a photovoltaic (PV) system at the Springfield Tech Park with the Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) Assistance Corporation. The 30.8 kW system, which was designed and installed by Berkshire Photovoltaic Services (BPVS), includes 108 Schott Solar 285W PV modules and two Solectria Renewables, PVI13KW 480VAC, 3-phase inverters. The system is designed to provide instructional opportunities for Springfield Technical Community College students and professional development courses offered through the Center for Business development at STCC. The installation, which was funded by a Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC) Grant, is the 15th higher education institution to choose Solectria Renewables’ technology for their PV system.
