Global Resource Options Makes West Coast Expansion

The new partnership between Global Resource Options (GRO) and HelioPower will help both companies promote photovoltaic (PV) modules from Evergreen Solar to customers in the California solar market, which is said to be the third largest in the world.

GRO will provide product and technical support to HelioPower, which will benefit by offering the new product line and services to their future and existing customers in California. GRO and Evergreen previously announced an $88 million multi-year supply contract. “Adding HelioPower as a partner to the GRO dealer network provides both greater strength of operations and broader geographic coverage,” said Jeff Wolfe, CEO of GRO. “Moving forward, the differentiation Evergreen Solar brings to HelioPower will provide them with increased leverage in their expanding market areas.” Mo Rousso, CEO of HelioPower, also stated his enthusiasm for the new partnership, which, he says, “will allow us to increase and accelerate our plan to be a regional market leader in photovoltaics. GRO’s team provides unparalleled market insight and technical support, as well as predictable product supply.”
