December 11, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Bernd Fessler (36), Chief Financial Officer of Sunways AG, the German solar cell manufacturer, will leave the company as of 31 December 2003. Until further notice, he will act as an adviser to Sunways. The company says that it is still maintaining its strong growth path. Recently, there have been differences of opinion between the supervisory board and Bernd Fessler with respect to the company’s further strategic development and the details of the expansion of its distribution activities. As no understanding could be reached, Mr. Fessler is leaving the company of his own accord and by mutual agreement. Fessler joined the company in October 2000 and was instrumental in the public offering and stock exchange listing of Sunways in February 2001.
