German Firm to Fill Solar Module Orders from Spain

Oldenburg/Prenzlau, Germany [] The German solar module manufacturer and system provider Aleo Solar AG received an order from Gamesa Solar, a renewable energy company from Madrid, for 11,000 solar modules with total power of more than two megawatts (MW). The release states that since 2004 the Spanish government has supported renewable energy through the Royal Decree 436/2004. In 2007 Aleo will begin production in its own factory in Barcelona. With a capacity of 10 MW per year, it claims to become one of the largest solar module factories in Spain. Until the facility is completed Aleo will deliver product from the factory in Prenzlau.
