Funds to Connect Rural Poor of South Africa

February 20, 2003 [] Sasol is investing R15 million (US$1.8 million) in a project to help the South African Government set up ten Integrated Energy Centers (IeC’s) over the next three years to make energy more accessible and affordable to the rural poor of South Africa. Solar PV will be among the technologies considered.
