Fuel Cell Units Head to France

April 9, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] IdaTech has shipped its first two pre-production FCS 1200 1.2 kW fuel cell systems to European utility, Electricite de France (EDF). The systems will be used for integration with solar photovoltaic technology in a hybrid power system for remote locations. EDF, one of the world’s largest energy groups, will be installing, testing and evaluating the hybrid solution throughout 2003.
