Hamburg, Germany [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] aleo solar AG has signed a procurement agreement with ersol Solar Energy AG for the delivery of 253 megawatts (MW) of solar cells from 2008 to the end of 2019. The agreement stipulates fair market prices and initial deliveries could be made as early as this summer. aleo’s production capacity is currently being expanded from 100 MW to 180 MW by the end of 2008.
“By agreeing on fair market prices both partners act responsibly to ensure that they are able to offer their customers products at attractive prices,” said Dr. Claus Beneking, Chairman of ersol.
In related news, ersol’s thin-film subsidiary has signed a module supply contract with Ralos Vertriebs GmbH for approximately 40 MW. The Nova-T amorphous thin-film modules are to be supplied to the German solar distributor over a period of three years from 2008 to 2010.
“We were impressed by the quality of ersol’s thin-film modules. They are ideally suited to our open space systems,” said Günter Schölzl, General Manager of Ralos Vertriebs.
